Has anyone failed to get a place on the IEC uk program? How hard is it to get a place? Really worried I won't get one.

I'm from the uk as well. Hoping to get a space, website says it won't open till mid February which should be any day now. Will I be able to live and work anywhere in Canada if I get one?

Cheers for the reply so fast! I rang a Canadian immigration helpline and they said she would be able to sponsor me, so I don't understand. I've looked at the IEC and it says that it's closed for the UK (?) Any idea how I would be able to get an open work permit also? Thank you
