Hi, I got medical request and to pay The Right of Permanent Residence Fee last week. Would anyone knows from here how much time it would take for passport request in ADVO?

In the meanwhile I also applied for a tourist visa to Canada so can visit with my family and unfortunately got rejected and the reason given I dont have strong ties with the resident country(UAE) eventhough I am born and raised here. This reason is beyond my immigination :o(

I've applied through an agent in Dubai, so I've requested my agent to follow-up with ADVO on my application. So the reply which I got from ADVO is that they are doing some mandatory background checks. I dont understand why background checks take so long especially when I am born and raised in UAE??
