Quick question to those familiar with PPR: should the passport be valid for more than 6 months for PPR? I ask that because my passport expires July 2015 and I expect to get PPR in March / April, so I need to know whether I should get a new passport before that. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that I can travel to the US and come back just with a valid permit by car. My doubt is if once in the US I can travel internationally and then cross the border back to Canada just with the valid permit. Thanks!

Under CEC. Now I'm wondering whether she got an MR for our permits extension (I'm a worker, she's a visitor) and it's just a coincidence we got both the AOR and the MR almost altogether. The MR doesn't mention whether it's for CEC or permit extension =/

I JUST received my AOR, but my application is still not available in E-CAS. Is that normal? Also, my wife got medicals requested just after I received my AOR, but I was not requested medicals. Is that because I took a medical exam before coming to Canada? That was in Nov 2011. Thanks =) EDIT...
