All Afghan applications are processed in New Dehli now, due to the fact that Islamabad has too many applications and the waiting time takes forever however new dehli is 13 months. hope this helps

Salam hamwatan, the file from the start was sent to India, i have seen some members here whose file was transferred from Islamabad to New dehli, in their case it might make sense to send the passport to cic in pak and get the visa from them. what you say?

as far as i know in india its illegal to send passport out of the country and according to them they dont send. i dont know how come anyone would get passport from india in pakistan?

if your in Canada, you could apply through any consulate in BC or ON, contact them via phone there is a fee you could pay via cheque or money order and send it to them with all required docs it takes well over 2 months i think. however the consulate ppl are nice they will help you out just ask...

did anyone got it this way? as far as i know pakistan add are the worse, the fact of the matter is if they know there is a passport inside they will check it out and they might steal it i seriously dont trust that country's postal services. i will raise a question did anyone got their passport...

thats like you have go there stay in a hotel for a week or so to get the passport back- very inconvenient

According to CIC helpline the online status takes sometime as they update on weekly or monthly basis, so long you have sent all the required docs u should be good, incase if they need anything they will contact you as per your preferred method stated in your application. so your all good

No she is in Kabul, is there any other alternative to send the passport to CIC New Delhi and get it back in Kabul rather then sending someone there?
