Re: People who got fingerprint request! I am sure you can get your fingerprints done only by request by CIC or whichever company(sometimes employers, corporations ask for background checks).

He is asking you for the documents so he could possibly certify them for your case purpose. Since he is a lawyer, he is able to certify the required documents. Do not worry, he is just following the usual requirements.
