No I didnt get any auto-reply because during that time period CIC was having problems and no one was receiving auto-replies. Yes, I included all details that were required like Name, App number, client id number, DOB etc.

I had called CIC call center previously to ask the same questions as wanted to know if I can apply and go for vacations. The lady told me that even if they issue a new work permit when I'm out of the country, my previous work permit will still be valid as long as it has not expired.
