I'm afraid that going public could cause the retribution from CIC, guess it's better not to play these games with the bureaucracy...

I contacted both the MP and Chris Alexander as well as requested the ATIP and contacted the local CIC office, all with the same result. ATIP shows that the file was just "sitting there" for the most part, they just do nothing.

I know someone who also applied in 2011 and just got a third! fingerprint request, after the test. And I've applied in 2011 too, didn't get a FP request, but got an RQ and still waiting for the test, for more than 3 years now...

Yes, that's exactly what's happening. I for one applied almost 38 months ago and still waiting for the test to be scheduled and RQ to be reviewed, but the STIP reports show that the file just stays there, no progress.

Yes, it is propaganda, I've applied more than 37 months ago and still didn't even get my test scheduled, my application was marked "test ready" in april 2012, but no processing has been done till I contacted the call centre in june 2013, after that I got and RQ in august 2013, no further...
