yes, but that is only when nothing is mentioned on ur study permit.. but they have specifically mentioned on my study permit abot my course details in the remarks column

Hi Seniors..pls reply i want to change my course, but the immigration officer has written the course name in my Remarks and my study counsellor n advisor in cllg says i might nt get work permit or PR..i dont know if they r saying it to keep in the cllg n course or if it is really going to...

i didnt know i m the only one who got 2 permits until i reached my accomodation.. some say its for off campus work permit..n some say its for co-op..as of now i m under course/cllg change tensions..once done with it i shall look into it..

didnt get u .. but no use of that work permit..its purely for co-op i guess..

they have given me a work permit along with study permit at the immigration in the airport.. but i guess that is for my Co-op, bcos i have been asked if my course has a co-op..

I had nearly 7 yrs of GAP n got visa for a PG diploma program.. for all the mature students, i suggest dont forget to attach an SOP in ur file..n explain wt u did all the yrs n how ur studies in canada can enhance ur career

I just arrived in canada n am in the similar situation..the immigration officer told me " ur passport expires on so n so date..thats how far we can go..once u get ur new passport, bring me the papers n get ur study permit extended"

But pretty much every1 i know has changed..n they r at such ease..they r just saying..if Bonded is NO on the study permit..thats enough i got into lambton sarnia..i m looking at some cllg in toronto, ..lambton toronto campus hardly hav sme 5-6 courses..n nothing of 1 yr or 8 months.. so have...

is it good to change cllg ? every1 is saying the cllg will intimate CIC that we didnt attend cllg at theirs

yeah...1 yr courses can be finished off in 8 months too right

i m in toronto now...i dont want to risk a chance of short term work permit, so wud mostly be doing studies for 2 yrs.. to begin with i am looking at 8 months course..may be my approach is not right..
