Yes i gathered. ;D her passport expires in two years so that is not an issue. I was wondering if the visa's are valid for a given period ie you have a 90 day visa...we requested 6 months. Or is that decided by immigration on arrival.

She is from Russia. We just applied online about a week ago. So one more question - we applied for a visa for 6 months. Does it expire in 6 months from the time they give it? Or when her passport expires? Or how does that work??

We just got a visitor visa for my wife (letter stating "decision has been made. send in your passport to finalize the application) so I assume it's done. If a decision has been made, its either yes or no. If it's no, I can't see them requesting her passport - therefore........ Anyways... It...
