I got visa without GIC or paying fees. Just showed bank statement having few thousand dollars more to Fees + Living. Bottom line is visa officer should get convinced that you are going there for study mainly.

Thanks so I can enter Canada by given time but may require extension of permit in course can't complete in time. Moreover although this question may differ from what I asked, I wanted to know how's job prospects in mechanical industry in Canada. Is it good or bad compared to India.
