I got my passport back with student visa sticker but there was no other paper included. I heard u need a letter or some thing to show at port of entry for study permit. What should I do? Is this normal?

Hey guys, I received the visa request from CHC but it states that the passport should be valid for the duration of study. My passport expires in 2015. What should I do? Can I still renew it or is it something like passports can only get renewed in the last 6 months before expiry date?

You are absolutely right! Look at me, I had my whole family call up every minister, embassy source, people in immigration services that they knew of! High tension scenes at home :P Another week and I would have withdrawn for sure. :P So please stay calm and keep praying :P

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone who applied online and actually got their visa! i am starting to think this was a wrong choice now. I have make sure I get my that visa or my scholarships will be cancelled. That's why i was considering going though vfs. :/

save all of them in one pdf file or as a word file. If you are doing online, I suggest you consider going through vfs. I applied online and its been a month and half and still waiting -.-

My course starts september 1 but i have be there by 25th. You are right. I have decided to wait a bit longer. Will go do the medicals today and just wait now. So tensed because if I don't get the study permit, my scholarships will be cancelled. Praying! :-[
