Frankly, after getting my passports back I did check the same day and it still showed In Process and today I logged in again and it had a DM on it. So I guess it changed to DM in the last few days but definitely after I had my passports in my hand.

My visa is valid till 10-Mar-15 which is 12 months from date they received my medicals.. Hope this helps and wish you the best!

Good point Nik. Just called up Amex and they confirmed that as per RBI, the card would need to be replaced by the chip card upon expiry of the current card. So no problems there. I guess I just fill up the CC details and send the app. Once again just double checking I dont need to pay the fee...
