Hi there, I'm new to this forum too, and kind of in the same situation as your parents. Just wondering whether your parents received visa. My uncle is planning to visit his son soon and also had refused by refugee status more than 15 years ago.But he has very good travel history.

ofcourse he is going to write it on the application form. He doesn't have to wait till they check the finger prints.

Thank u for your response. he had gone many other countries , after his visit to Canada. He runs a well established company in his country now. Hope embassy will consider these info :(

Hi, If my uncle had applied for refugee status more than ten years ago but was denied. And he went back to his country with his decision before deportation. Can he apply to Canada as a visitor now for a short visit ? Thank you.
