You end up buying the actual crate as they cannot reuse them. Ours was so large we could not fit it in the car in Canada so left it at immigration so someone could upgrade for free when shipping their pet somewhere else.

I used JetPets and was very happy with the service. It was quite expensive for a 40kg dog but i am sure it will be a lot cheaper for a cat.

Yep, wrong information, i was on the phone and heard them mention 176 days for PR processing, assumed it was for new PR as that was where i was in the phone system. Landing at Peace Arch was very easy and everyone very friendly. No wait either side to entire process took 30 - 35 minutes.

COPR issued 2014/12/22 finally arrived to me in Canada today. I'm going to head to the border today to land as a resident as there is a 1 month wait for doing it downtown Vancouver. Also I found out there is a 176 day wait for PR cards to be issued :P

Also found out current wait time for PR Card is 176 days, and there is a wait time of 1 month to get an appointment in Vancouver downtown office to land. I would wait for that but my travel insurance runs out today :P

COPR is finally in my hands, issued 2014/12/22. Will be travelling to the border today to land. Happy days.

I haven't landed yet as my COPR is actually still in Australia, need to forward from my home there to me here in Canada. So I was going to wait until I got it in my hands before calling CIC. If the wait time is too long then to Peace Arch it is with me to flag pole.

COPR received yesterday after having to send ROPR receipt to Sydney so look a few weeks longer to get. Will get it sent to me here in Canada and then will land through CIC office in Vancouver :) :)

Well Australia Post decided to show "Returned To Sender" instead of "Awaiting Collection" on the tracking site after they tried to deliver to my parents house in Australia. Long story short, my COPR is at my parents house now and will be posted to me in Canada soon. Nothing like a mild heart...

I received ppr on 5th Nov but Sydney could not verify my right of pr payment so I had to send them a copy.

Quick update, they have sent "something" in my express post so i am expecting it to be delivered today :) Only thing is I am now in Canada again, so will have to get it forwarded to me here.

Yeah, I've done that. Why they could not of told us to do that when asking for PPR is beyond me.
