CPC Ottawa number for recorded mail

I've been requested to send documents to CPC Ottawa but UPS won't let me send using recorded delivery without a contact number. Any suggestions? Thanks!

DM at time of address change - COPR sent to old address?

Checking my old mailbox is easier said than done; it's in Canada but I'm now in the USA. Thank you for the advice. Hopefully making contact with CIC and gaining some clarity won't take too long.

DM at time of address change - COPR sent to old address?

My status changed to decision made at the same time I was changing address. This was back in mid-June. 4 months on I'm still waiting for my COPR in the mail (as I'm from a visa exempt country). Although the ecas systems does reflect my current address, I'm becoming increasingly worried that the...

    Withdraw PR application

I found myself in a similar situation and decided to keep the PR application going. The job I took sounded great and it pays well enough, but I'm not enjoying it and don't see myself staying long term. Switching to another US job would prove very difficult so I'm very happy I kept the door to...

    September 2013 Applications

My medicals have been received for a few weeks now but I'm still waiting on the passport request. I did inform OttPilot-immigration I'd be changing address, and then again when I had completed the move. In fact, the address has been updated on ecas but I'm starting to suspect the passport...

    September 2013 Applications

Haha, yeah it's been a while. I did my meds overseas and am changing address so things are a little chaotic but I'm still just about on track. I'd actually rather CIC were a little more inefficient with my application so the passport request shows up at my soon-to-be new address. Ecas status...

sending passport overseas by Ottawa: is it possible ?

Does this have implications for the processing time? Would the application go back to step 1, or would they carry on as normal?

    September 2013 Applications

Forgive my ignorance, but why are people so keen to login to ECAS after receiving the AOR? Is it just to confirm you're in the system? I expect my AOR pretty soon and wonder if you all know something I don't!

You don't need an LMO for BOWP applications. This thread probably answers all your questions...http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/tips-for-a-successful-bowp-application-t147650.0.html

I don't think it matters, Jalex23. The BOWP lasts a full year from issue, by which time you should have your PR status granted. I guess waiting a while longer could be seen as playing it extra safe, but personally I would just get it done.

    September 2013 Applications

So you're saying it's normal to have no notification from CIC regarding receipt or processing? The first notification (all being well) should be the AOR? That's what I'm hoping to hear :) I mailed on Sept 18th from Edmonton, AB Signed for in NS on Sept 23rd I don't want to undermine this...

    September 2013 Applications

For those who submitted earlier in the month and consider themselves to be at the 'application received' stage, what evidence do you have for this? I provided my email address on the application but have not had any notification that the application was received. I did however track the mail so...

leaving and returning to Canada while awaiting PR

Having submitted my PR application through the CEC from within Canada I will soon be applying for a bridging open work permit. Assuming the work permit application is successful will I be permitted to leave Canada and re-enter during the PR processing period? If so, would I (as a UK citizen)...

    Vegreville or Ottawa

I'm about to send off my PR application through CEC from within Canada. It states that I should mail the docs to CIO Syney, Nova Scotia, but there's also a question on the forms asking: immigration office requested for processing this application. The CIC website isn't too clear on this: it...

From closed work permit to PR and bridging open work permit

Having recently amounted 12 months (of 16 months) worth of work experience on a closed work permit, I am now looking at the possibility of submitting a PR application under the CEC, and applying for a bridging open work permit, that would allow me to stay in Canada while the PR application is...
