I am currently on an IEC Visa which ends in June. I would like to stay in Canada for the summer, even if I can't work. Is it possible to apply for a tourist visa so I can extend my stay whilst in Canada on the IEC. And if so how would I go about doing this. Thanks in advance to anyone that...

It says it's a POE Introduction letter? I'm guessing it's the same as a LOI? It's a letter that says 'Your application to study or work in Canada has been approved.' Am I good to go? Because on IEC it still says final decision 'pending'

I just received my POE from MYCIC.(took 3 months in total) Does anyone know how long until I hear from IEC about the final decision?

Simply fill in ALL the blanks, either put N/A or where you have to a number put a 0. Don't leave any blank answers and it should work.

Just got an email from MYCIC after a month of waiting. I need to supply a police cert from Australia which is going to take another 2 weeks atleast. And currently the site in which you apply for one is not working. So if anyone spent 6 months or longer in another country you should apply now...

Has anyone been granted their visa yet for the IEC program from either the UK or Ireland? I'm still waiting to hear back from MYCIC, i submitted my application 3 weeks ago.

For some of the entries you will not be able to put N/A, as you can only enter a number, so just put a 0 for the answers. This worked for me, it should work for you. Good luck
