I got the request to update my application as well. Medical Request should follow soon. Now then, about Police/Background/Security checks, it's not been mentioned a lot in this thread. Is it still applicable for FSW-2 applicants already living in Canada?

your citizenship doesn't make you more or less favorable. you will be placed in a queue just like everyone else. since you're already in Canada, you willl be applying to the Ottawa Visa Office. FSW processing there is slow, and you may be better off work for a year and try CEC category instead...
