Hi BC Girl, Yes, it's "In Process" since Feb 20, we are hoping we will hear something by end of May. After PPR request does it take another 2-3 weeks?

No news :(...last we heard from them was in March where they wanted an updated police clearance....haven't heard anything since......this waiting is getting harder and harder as the days go by.....Congrats Toronto88 and acquaintance....hopefully we will be next *fingers crossed*

We had to resend the police clearance again, have not received the PPR yet, just checking what options are available :)...thanks for replying Godzilla

Hi everyone, Just have a couple of questions, is the police clearance only valid for 6 months? Can we mail the passport to the Ankara visa office or should my husband take it to the visa office in person, he lives in Istanbul?

Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how long it takes for the application to reach Ankara from Ottawa? Does the Ankara VO issue like an AOR via email?

I finally have stage 1 approval!!!! :) :) Now moving on to the second part, which I hope will not be as long as 16 months(as per website).... but am so glad stage 1 is finally over ...phew!!!

What did you use to check your application status? I tried using the receipt number but it doesn't work :(... the wait is nerve wrecking....guess will have to wait until Wednesday
