Still waiting for the letter and attempting to get CAIPS notes as well. Did not see the letter myself, but from what i understood it said "i am not convinced that visit is necessary" bah, let me pay some more taxes, maybe that will help 8)

Similar situation happen to us, where we got denied 2nd TRV, the first one got through, the 2nd looked very similar as we did not violate any rules. Despite solid 2nd application the visa got denied.
