No, CIC did not ask me to redo the medical, I guess because I had not left Canada after that time.

Finally, I recieved my passport with the Visa on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3pm and I landed at 6pm on the same day. The immigration jouney lasted exactly 40 months + 11 days. Good luck every one.

I renewed my passport, and I just emailed them the copy of new passports. When CIC ask you to send the passport for visa issue, they will issue the visa based on your new passport not the old one. I have heard it does not need to tell them, but do not take risk and tell them.

CIC had received my passport on Sept. 20, and yesterday (Oct. 16) they have sent my passport back. for you will be soon, hopefully, but keep in mind cases are different.

Hi, You are right. There was a mistake. The track number has been activate on October 16, at 19:15pm.

Fortunately, after about 4 weaks, the track number of my return envelop from CIC was activated October 16, at 19:15pm. CIC had received my passport on Sept 20. Hopefully, I will get my passport today or tomorrow. Good luck every one.

Hi Skycanada, When did you send your passport to CPP-Ottawa? I mean when did they receive your passport? They have received my passport on Sept. 20.

Be relax and enjoy your life. The cases are different. I waited 16 months after Medical and paying RPRF.

I have a friend who was FSW, and she got back her passport in 1 day(when her passport had been delivered to CIC, next day the return track number of her passport had been activated). There is no rule, and cases are different.

I guess there is an expiray date on the visa, but I am not sure how long.
