We sent an email last week, but got the standard reply that they may not reply. However, after next Wednesday, we will be starting a daily email as it will mark 4 weeks since the DM2. Her home address has not been changed in eCAS.

An update (of sorts): We are still waiting for my wife's passport to be returned. It's now been 23 days since our DM2.

I think it's been easier on us because we both live in China at the moment. However, we have both left our jobs and are waiting for her passport to arrive. Almost feel like we have nothing to do but wait which seems to make time slower. ...we were thinking of traveling in BC for a few days...

Actually, you should be faster than that. Between February and April, the waiting time for sponsorship approval was 100 days, now it's 65 or so. So, you should see it in 5 months. At least that's my guess.

We've had DM2 since September 12th. Just waiting for my wife's passport to be returned.

My wife read a forum post and someone who got DM2 on September 12th (same as my wife) got their passport already. I can't for the life of me figure out how this works. Waiting sucks.

Still no passport for my wife. We had 2nd Decision Made on September 12th (16 days ago). I assume it's coming soon, and just so everyone knows, the embassy staff seem to only have Oct 1st off for the holiday. So they should be back to work on Tuesday.

My wife has just informed me that a few people who got their DM2 at the end of August got their passports back on Friday. Hopefully, that trend will continue this week before the week long National Day holiday starts. Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm going to find the link, but I'm almost certain I read that the Beijing VO only uses EMS, so I'm guessing maybe they have changed that policy.

What package was waiting at China Post? I thought the Beijing VO uses EMS to deliver all their material. When you contacted China Post did you just ask them if they had anything under your name or address?
