The medical request should be attached to your AOR which was received on Feb 22 ,2013. Please double check. If it is there, just do the medical immediately. I missed that email for 7 months but the immigration process still move on after they received my medical results.

I don't know if it's just me or not but they did ask me to sign the consent form to check my status. And I "think" it is the case manager of the MP office not the MP himself who talked to CIC in my case.

Finally, my passport arrived today! They didn't use my return envelope but use regular mail. Passport received by the office Dec 14 Visa stamped Dec 17 (in one business day!) CoPR Dec 24 (what happened in between?) Decision made Dec 25 Passport back Jan 3 (9 days because of the holidays?)...

Got my passport back from New York today :D They sent it via regular mail, not my reliable, fast, expensive fedex return envelope but I won't complain :D Wish good things happen on everyone else!!!

No. Mine was sent to New York. I found the processing time for other VOs are longer than Detroit.

Haha, but I'm still not sure if they will ever use my return envelope. The tracking number is not in the system yet. Maybe they just sent it via regular mail.

Yes it's weird. The mailing address is detailed but home address is just the city name.

If they ran out of quota they will just hold off the ppr. It doesn't make much sense to me if they ask you to send passport but not send it back just because of the quota. The delay may simply due to the holidays I think.

A friend of mine got PPR from Detroit, and that PPR is much clearer than mine which explained how the return envelope should be like... Yes for VO near the border you could use Canada Xpresspost but not for New York. NY is 6 hours away from the border!

I used FedEx. In the PPR they mentioned "Unless it is prepaid from a corporate account, we will not return your documents using ANY courier services (Fedex, UPS, DHL)." So I registered a corporate account at FedEx and link my credit card info to that return envelope.

Yeah, I guess its too early :) But just a little bit worried about the documents (RPRF, photos) I sent to them. Hope they are all right. Anyways, we should enjoy the holidays first! Have a good one Sharuu! ;)
