Hello Chicagocanadian1, go to www.cic.gc.ca right side you will find " check application status online " and follow the steps. it will ask your file # to put in. Mallik

Thanks for the response. am on H1B in USA. I think Buffalo,NY is processing my application. I applied on Aug1st 2008 thru canada based agency. CIC issued File # on Jan 23rd 2009 am not sure it is under new process system. Thanks, Mallik
