Yes. I received email about transfer on September 22nd, 2011

They wrote on mail my PR application has been completed. My landing visa has been already issued and there is a firmed expire date on visa(which is by 6 months). If I miss that date, I have to reapply PR. So they request passport within 30 days. Usually passport come back with in 1-3 weeks.

Soooo many October Applicants got PPR yesterday.

They could directly send you PPR be4 update.

I am not sure which time zone. But I am checking every morning or midnight b4 go to bed. For me, MER updated on Saturday/Sunday night and "in process" updated on the following Thursday morning.(not sure exact time, but I am sure it should be 12:00am CIC server time)
