get her on visitor visa stating tht she is coming to meet u...n u have enough FUNDS to support u both n TIES to ur home country India/Pak. and than apply for open work permit for ur spouse from inside canada....

dont worry horizon....if they feel like ur all documents are true...they dont bother to inquire abt it. my is same case...no inquiry in bank...got visa on 20-july. but not yet single cal or e-mail to bank. so just chill...bro!!! best luck... let us know wen u get visa....prayers for u....
