Is it normal to get a biometrics request before an AOR? And will then send an AOR later. Because I received a separate email saying they received my PR application with an app. Number.

Guys, I need some suggestions. Applied PR via RNIP: July 06 Still waiting for my AOR and my work permit is expiring on November. I tried calling IRCC and they are not picking up the call. Can anyone tell me if I can extend my WP without an AOR?
