Thanks for the detailed information. Did CSIS clear anyone background in this group who was waiting for longer time without "Writ of Mandamus" ? People who applied "Writ of Mandamus", could you let me know the average cost of this application and lawyer charges ?

Also did you or anyone try cancelling the group application and applying Citizenship (Grants) separately for you spouse, kid and you ? did that help in getting Citizenship for your Spouse and Kids ?

ok.. I have read in this group email conversation that case "Writ of Mandamus" should be filed in Federal Court to get the background cleared. is this the case always or CSIS provides the background clearance in "X" amount of time, say 3 years or 4 years or before PR expiry ?
