I think that before starting the random draw every year, they should have applied a criteria to exclude the applicants who are no longer interested, or whose parents have unfortunately departed, or those who may not be financially eligible for that specific year but still retaining them for...

I think it is not random. Maybe they are applying some criteria, perhaps those sponsors who are residing longer in Canada they maybe getting picked up first. I am guessing.

Does anyone know if there will be another round of invitations later this year for those who were not invited this time? Or do they plan to scrap the queue and start new process all over again?
