First you need to create a GCKey account, in case you don't have one yet: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html After creating the account, you can link the application. The link below has the steps/information to link it...

You can still link your application even if you're using a representative/lawyer. The only thing is your lawyer/representative will lose access when you link the application to your gckey account. Since you said the lawyer's job is done, it seems like there wont be an issue if they lose access...

You can try calling them at 1 (888) 242-2100. My COPR is Jan 22 and I was supposed to be away this week. IRCC did nothing for me, MP didn't help, I just completely missed the trip lol you might be lucky though, things are moving for jan ecopr from etobicoke.

I still think you're misinterpreting what the website says: "Use this form if you have waited six weeks longer than the normal processing time and you still have not received your PR card;" But if the Solemn Declaration works for you, great! Good Luck :)...

That's common, my friend received his card after almost 5 months from copr :) IRCC is unpredictable

Also, I don’t have USA visa so private vehicle was not an option. The length of the trip was for only 6 days so PRTD would have been too risky…

I got copr on Jan 22, I was supposed to be travelling tomorrow but didn’t get my card yet. I tried everything I could to get my card on time for this trip: web forms, calling, put a note on the file because the processing time passed, even contacted my local MP… nothing worked and I just missed...

I've tried everything I could, even contacted MP. Nothing worked. I just accepted that I'm gonna miss an important family trip. Thank you for that IRCC

Does anyone here have experience with contacting a MP with PR cards? If so, did you have to sign a consent form/provide copies of passport and Driver's license (as proof of address)?
