No, I ordered the GCMS notes and found out I'm subject to A34 "comprehensive security screening". Based on what I witness in other forums, it might take around 1 year after the start date of "Security screening" to complete.

By Pass request I meant "passport request letter" to get the visa stamp based on the guy's timeline: 26th June 2023 : Tracker Application history updated with Background Verification status changed to "In Progress". 3rd October : Final Decision on GC Key with a Information letter explaining next...

For me the last update was may 9th where my bgc got updated to in progress. But I saw other people getting updates even yesterday. Maybe there's no update yet. The issue I had before happened for many users at the time.

How long hasn't it been updated?

I saw someone's tracker today who had the same tracker line in his history ("Background verification status has been updated to in progress.") and his Background got completed 28 days after that message. I don't know about his case being inland/outland or visa type. But I think we can be hopeful...

Did they get the same "background verification has been updated to in progress" message in tracker? I guess this means more than 6 months of screening. I'm already considering other countries there is no guarantee when it will be done. Investing time on Canada was a big mistake from my part...

This is insane. It's anything but express entry. we should call it snail entry!

I got the same message on May 9th 2024 as well. I think we need to wait for a looooooooooooooong time. something between 6moths and a year if we're lucky otherwise more up to 3 or 4 years.

Where should we complain about the pr tracker not getting updated?

Hey guys! I had my latest update on April 4th and ever since although I have completed my biometrics and passed the medical exams my tracker has not been updated. Is this a software glitch affecting all users or it's just me? Is there any workaround?
