I’ve read somewhere that even if passport expires, visa is valid upto 10yrs or so. So I was in the mindset that it is ok to have a valid passport at the time of interview or get a new passport before that. Only when u told this I checked on that.Now i regret paying in advance for the appointment :(

Wow thats amazing that u could make up to Sept ‘25 atleast! Am still in ‘26 date waiting for a 2024 or 2025 beginning date as my spouse passport expires in 2nd month of ‘25. Today also when i checked it was system busy or maintenance pop up all the time.

Hello.. I just came across a fb group post that few ppl were able to reschedule to 2024 dates couple days ago. Just wondering if anyone know abt it or they did through any agency or so?

Yes i am..waiting for rescheduling mail as i got fed up in checking to reschedule for many days with no luck..

sorry am not sure if am late to read this but i could only see toronto & vancouver slots from Oct 2026 when i checked now.

Am asking out of my curiosity.:rolleyes: In how many months did you guys got reschedule emails, so that we can have an expectation & wait until then pls? It will be helpful for all who are in same situation if everyone who got such email can reply on this. Thanks in advance:)

Same with one of my applications..no further update after that but its delivered..

You can expect OCI stamped & send to u in 4-5 weeks from the Date of acknowledgement as per my 2 applications submitted in june.

Haha it seems lk they couldnt deliver since no1 was home for delivery(i suppose). Got both oci’s on hand & happy parents nw

Received the 2nd oci at home via Purolator yesterday on 10th Jul. Not sure why one of them was on hold at purolator office & other one delivered at home address..both were applied together in person..

For one of my OCI application, Document received at Toronto on 4th July & got the pickup notification already. So probably u can expect ur oci in a week of time, as per my experience.
