I got second email( decision has been made) on Jan 7,2014 and still waiting for vancouver local office letter for interview schedule. Hopefully it won't takes longer than 3 months!)

Have you ever email them to follow up? I heard that if you reached 30 days of processed time, you can email them and they will reply back :) Hope you will get it so soon!

It is my first time to renew visa. YES, regular mail takes longg time to mail back. One of my friend took 11 days to got back< count from date that issue visa> . For me I mailed out Dec 6 and they got my mail Dec 16. Snail mail ;)

Hi Sohney, I just apply for visa in Seattle too. They just got my mail on 16 Dec. I used canadapost regular registered mail.

I sent them copy of passport and every pages that had stamped on < I left canada for vacation> , new employment contract, letter from employer , copy of current work permit. I applied it online on Oct 5,2011. I just got my new work permit today :)
