Thanks. It is the second application that got approved. For the reconsideration I just got a message stating that the documents I provided had been added to the file but about three weeks later I got a the ppr for the second application.

To end the story for those who will be reading, I got PPR six weeks after my second attempt. I am in canada since February

actually I was not on security screening. I was on background check for 16 weeks , then the day I got the refusal I was written background check complete same day as biometrics (august 4th) . so the background check took one day according to what I see in the account, it just took them 16 weeks...

Medical request is a good sign. They don’t bother sending it if you don’t pass eligibility.

I already reapplied with more documents to prove funds . I don't know if an error was made or not, in the reconsideration request I just reminded them I had scholarships that could cover all the expenses.

I got rejected after 16 weeks and four days

The scholarship were for every semester for 4 years. The problem is I never worked and my family cannot help, so I don't have any proof of funds other than that.

The normal processing time is 20 working days. Since you applied on october 7th, you might have to wait 3 to 4 more days. Mine took 10 working days fyi.

Sorry to hear that. Don’t get discouraged. You have two months and a half before winter intake. You can still get the approval if you re-apply.
