We got our eCOPR yesterday! We were through the Mississauga office until portal invite and credentials came from Calgary, but eCOPR came from Montreal. No rhyme or reason here!

Background check really depends on the applicant. Some people have their background check completed in a couple days, others wait a few months.

Your visa office is generally chosen by the applicant's location, not by the status of your application. But, during COVID, they started shifting applications to whatever VOs had the capacity to process them (eg. if London was supposed to be the office but it was super busy, they might send it...

Yeah we had the same. Absolutely nothing, and then one day it was approved.

You can link the application with the applicant's UCI in GCKey, but they honestly don't show much tbh. We were able to link it and there were absolutely no updates and then it was just approved one day.

To make sure I understand: the call centre says you're done but both the tracker and GCKey still show it as in process? Because I would trust the trackers over the call centre. The call centre agents aren't case processing agents and they give bad/wrong info all the time.

Yes, inland, common-law. The COPR appeared a few days after Eligibility and Background Check both changed to 'Completed:' everything was marked as complete November 17th, and we started seeing COPR November 21st. We got portal invite December 14th and the credentials came yesterday.

We waited just under a month, so they seem to be speeding up a bit.

Congrats on getting portal access! How long did it take for them to send you credentials? It seems to really vary for eCOPR. I've seen some people who uploaded everything to the portal back in October who are still waiting, and I've seen a couple in the last week or so who got it within a few days.

I think if we've learned anything, it's that this is a very unfair and inconsistent process. I hope you get yours soon!

I think it works best in Chrome, at least I couldn't get it to work in Firefox. You either go to the login page of the tracker and press F12 or login and press F12, I read to do both but I didn't find anything different. A pop up will appear, click Network and then Fetch/Xhr. If you're...
