Randomly glancing through this thread makes me feel that many got bvl letter mid November.. my in laws got it on November 15 and 16. I do see few more people got on same timeframe..
I would give it another week.. because I saw some TRVs got either PPR or rejection after about two weeks of BVL.. if no results by then, I am inclined to think that our applications would be in for a long and indefinite wait without any results. I am not sure if new portal is going to help...
Someone applied on 16th October got PPR today. For people who get PPR, it automatically comes along when they pass medicals.
I am not sure if the theories that we have been discussing on PPR workload is true and now inclined to worry more on what is going to happen now..
Anyone here applied on September second to third week and waiting?
Applied for in laws on September 19 .. Medical request came in two weeks.. Medical passed November 16 and correspondence received on November 23. Nothing after that so far..
hope this comes true..
but I do see all sorts of scenarios in this forum.. both PPR as well as refusal after few days to few weeks of correspondence letter.
did they get medical request or was it upfront?
we didn't do prior medicals and it was done through IRCC request after submitting the application. If they are going to refuse our application, it's sheer waste of our time and money to do that. They could have refused it straight away.
So what travel date have people mentioned here in the application? Let us see if there is any common trend based on that . We have mentioned 1st January 2022 as travel date..
My in laws application stuck in same status. Got correspondence letter two days back. They don't have any prior refusals and this is first application for Canada.
I also saw one refusal for TRV after few weeks of correspondence letter. So rejection may not be necessarily immediate.. not feeling...
well said and so true. With 2021 priority date, it is a no brainer.
Even people with priority date after mid 2014 are at big risk now despite filing i485 and there is a good chance that they probably may never see GC for next 5 years or more. EB3 category has been hammered with excessive...
We are planning to apply super visa for my mom and in laws. We moved to Canada last October from US and filed taxes for 2020. Our household taxable income mentioned in NOA (line 26000) well is above LICO requirements (~60k) for 6 people (our family of 3 + mom + in laws).
Is it an issue if we...
