    April 2021 Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Hi, I received DM on the sponsor side on January 1st, and this morning DM on the PA side. Received no e-mail or anything, not even SA. Could the DM for both or one sides still be bad news or is it safe to assume it's a positive decision? My timeline so far: App received April 16 Pre-AOR May...

    April 2021 Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Hi, I was wondering, i gave my biometrics on October 29, later that day the status changed from "we need your fingerprints.." to "we do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes." Is that normal? Shouldn't it change to completed or something like that? It does show...

    Health insurance

No, i am not applying for another IEC work permit. I am applying for an OWP with the inland spousal sponsorship. For the second time, we withdrew the first application. Because i was an IEC participant the first time i applied for the OWP + spousal, i had to submit prove of health insurance. Now...

    Health insurance

Thank you. The checklist states: " if you are a participant in the International Experience Canada program, provide proof of health insurance covering the intended extension to your length of stay in Canada." Just wondering if that would still apply to me. First time i applied for a OWP it did...

    Health insurance

Question, I'm currently in Canada on an OWP. Originally entered Canada on IEC. When i applied for my current OWP, one of the conditions was proof of health insurance, because i had a IEC permit. Soon i will be applying for a new OWP. Is proof of health insurance needed for the next one as...

    Most recent NOA

I did some more digging, found this in the help center on cic.gc.ca. Maybe it'll help others with the same question. "We’ll accept your application without your NOA for the 2020 tax year if you don’t have it by the time you apply, but you must submit it as soon as you have it."

    Most recent NOA

I most certainly value your opinion, i'm not sure though if i can wait those ~2 weeks. I need the app in asap to remain legal status. We already had to deal with a couple set backs, as far as i know, the app needs to be in 30 days before my current status expires.

    Most recent NOA

I would like to send it in asap. It would probably be about 2 weeks before the accountant is done with the numbers and I don't think i have that time. A 2019 NOA would not be reason for immediate refusal/app sent back? It is technically our most recent one at this point.

    Most recent NOA

Hi all, Inland sponsorship, spousal. Is it acceptable to use the 2019 NOA for my wife (sponsor) to use in our application? This is our most recent one, we are currently still working on doing our taxes, as it's been a complicated tax year for us. We can submit the 2020 NOA once we have it...

    A couple questions

I understand that, and i appreciate all your input in this. My biggest concern is answering the question with a yes, while it maybe should've been a no, and thus providing false information. Or answer with no, and get rejected. I'm seeing a lot of contradicting information on this, that's why...

    A couple questions

Thank you. I'm just a little worried about the fact that if we answer Have you submitted a previous application in respect of which a final decision has not been made for the person being sponsored and their family member." with a yes, my wife does not qualify as a sponsor? The official guide...

    A couple questions

Yes, i did. I got a letter saying my withdrawal was honoured, and no further processing would take place. Definitely no refusal letter.

    A couple questions

Thank you for your answer. I'm reading a lot of contradicting information on my first and third question, anyone else who can provide some information about it? We chose to withdraw because we sent it in to quickly, not meeting the 12 months of living together requirement. In my withdrawal...

    A couple questions

Hi all, just going over my application, making sure i got everything. I have a couple questions, hope someone can give me some insight on them. Note, this will be the second application. We chose to withdraw the first one before a final decision was made. We did receive SA for the first one...
