I have an appointment for Aug 16 that I got last year. I don’t currently reside in Canada and only have a visitor visa. Will my appointment be cancelled?

I still see my appointment online but they usually send an email saying appointment will be cancelled and then one saying it has been cancelled. I'm pretty sure it is as good as cancelled now.

Yeah I wrote back explaining my situation. Got a reply next day that my request was rejected. No explanations or reasons given.

It took 4 weeks to get a response. I told them about my plan and got a reject next day without any reason mentioned.

Yeah it was a PCR test and I got it done at Switch Health lab. It costed around $150. Results came back in a day.

I recently got back to US using AVR, however I had an expired F1 and I797. But I think you should be fine, you can still use AVR as long as you have a current unexpired I797. Also, not sure about land borders but I needed a Covid test taken within 3 days to check-in.

Yeah I ended up getting back on 8th Feb through toronto airport. The visa officer was pretty straightforward, asked no questions regarding the number of days of my stay or purpose etc.

How did you count the days? I'm confused as to how the total number of days are counted for AVR
