    Yeah it was a PCR test and I got it done at Switch Health lab. It costed around $150. Results came back in a day.

    I recently got back to US using AVR, however I had an expired F1 and I797. But I think you should be fine, you can still use AVR as long as you have a current unexpired I797. Also, not sure about land borders but I needed a Covid test taken within 3 days to check-in.

    Yeah I ended up getting back on 8th Feb through toronto airport. The visa officer was pretty straightforward, asked no questions regarding the number of days of my stay or purpose etc.
