Update:- Applied Mar 24 2024, AOR received in early May, mid June received Biometrics req Biometrics completed 11 July. Anyone in same boat as me?

Hi all, I had applied spousal PR Canada Class on March 25th 2024. Is it normal to not have my eligibility completed yet…it’s not even started. Rest all is in-progress, Biometrics shows completed and Medical shows completed…..thats it. Any inputs?

I was in the same 8am Edmonton virtual ceremony. I thought it takes 2-5 business days…so as per that today is the 5th day so there should be some update in few days. Do you think i should call them too??

Hi all, today was the day. Finally after 4-5years of struggle, tension…I finally gave Oath today. Hope everyone gets their applications completed…oath ceremony quickly. It took me exact 3 months to reach Oath as my application date was 20 June, 2023.

I dont think this would affect anything. Tracker update date is different than actual task update date if you see on history below. I think once you send oath form, it should be updated

This is actually true, there is a proposed Bill that will be discussed in parliament, if its gets passed we will see this. The only thing that it will affect is the number of international students coming into the country. Bill is to put a cap on number of international students.

Back to back updates. Yesterday, my tracker updated as completed for all fields except Oath. This morning, I received oath ceremony email and tracker updated in progress as well.

Good News… All my fields are showing completed except Oath Ceremony which is still at not started.

Actually not. It did showed updated on 29th Aug…and tracker showed completed on 31st Aug. I gave exam on the very first day 21st Aug, last date is 11sep. So it can update early depending on when you do it.
