If I was in your situation, I’d be relaxing lol. Simply because everything on your app has been processed and you’ve sent in your passport. It can take a few weeks, but nothing compares to the waiting some of us have left. Some of our files haven’t even been transferred to the respective VOs. So...

You do need to provide everything with your application package, they may ask for updated ones later but you still need to send them beforehand :)

She was really vague, she just said they were working on the majority of the file at Sydney. I recently sent new PCs and they haven’t begun checking those yet, but they are reviewing eligibility there, according to the info I have on GCkey

Just for future reference, can I order GCMS notes if I’m not a representative on the application? And does my husband have to sign off on them too or can I do this process on my own?

I don’t think anyone can answer this 100 percent accurately. There may be a slight chance, if they have any doubts in terms of relationship but considering your BGC is in process, it’ll probably just stay in CPC-M.

I haven't been active on this thread as I'm sponsoring my husband and my mother is the one sponsoring my grandma, but she finally got DM today! Hopefully PPR will come soon for her. We submitted her application in May last year.

If your SA is DM, then you should have received AOR by now, as AOR comes before SA from what I know. MR can be at any time, we personally got MR the same say I got SA. Some people get it a few days before SA, others on the same day as SA, and some a few days, even weeks after. Nobody can give...

I don’t think there’s a defined next step, as every application is different and processed differently.. but you could either get a MR soon or transferred to a VO if you’ve already recieved SA.

There’s really no set time frame. Some people get it the same day, some before, some after. Just wait and hopefully you’ll hear some good news soon! I know I was anxious to get SA and Medicals and got them later than most people who applied in December... but you should hear something back soon! ;)

This bothers me so much. I think it's kind of dumb they won't give any info to sponsors throughout the sponsorship process considering we are a part of the process as well. Why should there be a need to fill out the use of representative form when we are the sponsors? lol I really can't deal.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve visted my husband twice since I mailed out the application and I also got insurance and added him as beneficiary but I wasn’t too sure on whether it was necessary or not unless they ask for it..
