Recently for a few people who applied Outland living in Canada Family class in the document checklist had their applications returned for listing "PA living in Canada" on form imm1344, question #6. The ircc paperwork said they should have listed "living outside Canada" even though PA is living...

sorry that's not true at all. I know people who heard after 4-5 months for outland 2021 applications.

Haha! It would not benefit them for a refundable ticket though.

The weird thing is that he's booked one way before into Canada with no issues. As I mentioned also, we are planning on booking him a return to Florida just in case. Wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

We are May 12 applicants and still haven't heard anything. Anyone else from around the date still waiting? Getting really anxious as we already had a return once from inland after 7 months.

I don't remember which forms updated in the lady couple months but that's the one I'm referring to.

there is ongoing debate on when exactly these forms were updated. many people seemed to have downloaded as late as mid September and still got the old versions. there is also talk of there being a grade period in which the older versions are still accepted. we'll just have to wait and see...

they are sending a generic reminder to pay the bio fee, that's it.

it's to track the progress of applications both inland and outland. at the bottom are monthly tabs and you can see when each application hits each milestone in the process.

we made just the $10 payment and included a copy with the original receipt.

has anyone who applied in second half of September gotten their temporary aor letter yet? the spreadsheet has been showing Sept 15 applicants to receive it last and that was almost a month ago.

I have no idea, we didn't receive a biometrics request. we received a reminder to pay the biometrics fee, which was through PA Email.
