Received my passport today (sent sep 29) NO email from cic once your application is closed. you have to check it on cic site

Hi Caimi, my passport was sent Sep 29, arrived in Ottawa Sep 30. Return tracker hasn't been activated yet. I just checked my cic yesterday (oct 5) and realized that my application is closed. So i don't know exactly how long it takes. How about yours?

i didn't receive an email. checked my cic today and it says approved and closed

Once you got your pr. Is it ok to resign in a company even if you signed a 2 yr contract when you came here? ( came as a foreign worker) What are the rules for that here in alberta?

Will it be a problem if after you landed, you move? For example, when you applied, you're in Edmonton, But then after landing, you move and go to Calgary. How will you receive your PR card then, you're changing address? Will it be questionable since on the application, there it is stated where...

Do you think it also dpends on how long were you staying here in canada can also be a basis? So if you're in canada for less than a year, your application will take longer than people who stayed here for more than a year.
