Hi all, My parents are here in Canada and I have applied for their super visa. I just received medical request in MyCIC for my dad but not for my mom. Is this common to receive medical request separately for family members or I need to contact CIC for mom’s medical? Thanks.

I am with GMS. The best quote I got was directly from GMS customer support. All insurance brokers are rip-offs, I spoke to at least six or seven. The cheapest broker provided quote was $300 expensive than what I got directly from GMS.

I applied for my parents' Super Visa online. Submitted all documents online in pdf format. If you are applying for Super Visa still it's considered an extension of stay so you pay $75 for each applicant. Here is the link which will direct you to make an application online...

Thank you User and Suin for your replies. One more question to Suin, when you say you applied for extensions twice, you mean extension for visitor visa? And also do you happen to know if a person can renew the passport in Canada while being on a visitor visa from a local consulate?
