oic.. my husband had the same situation before so he called the alberta healthcare hotline and told them that his papers are in process.. they extend his healthcard for another 5 months.

Skyline, u don't need to wait for Your OWP to renew your healthcard,AIP is good enough to prove that their processing your papers.

hi September approximately 6 weeks.. we had the same situation too.. now we r done with his medical we received his AIP but no OWP yet. Everything will be fine for us thats for sure.. Advanced Merry Christmas everyone..!!! Enjoy the Holiday while waiting..

Congrats ACS..! how long befor u received the actual OWP since u got ur AIP email..? just curious.. my husband is done on his medical.. we received his AIP email last week dec. 15 and still waiting for his OWP

i've been calling the cic call centre and they always told me to "wait for the letter" :( any way thank you all for the response i hope eveything will be fine.. my husband is already in implied status.. his driver liscense will expired soon, and he needs a valid work permit to renew it..

Actually, my local office sent me this RQ that means, my file was transferred the 2nd week of feb. My received line was disappeared when i checked my ecas more than 2 weeks ago.. Then i got RQ'd lol :(
