Hello Can I apply for canadian citizenship from USA. I was physically present in canada for 1095 days. But moved to US. I did not get a chance to apply for citizenship while i was in Canada.

They accept PR as id only if you submit it along with another canadian id. Otherwise they will return your application. Drivers license or healthcard is good.

Sad to know. I have the same problem. I send a copy of PR card as one of my identification card. Probably they might have send the application back. I did not receive it though. Since i moved to US, I put my friends address as mail address. He is not in town this week to check the post.
