I resubmitted photos in April and they reached CIC office on April 21. Every time I call CIC they say they have no information about my PR card and that I need to wait.

Hey thanks a lot for this information. I ended up sending the photos with COPR copy, passport bio and PR visa copy, IMM5455 and the email printout alongwith a short explanation letter stating my UCI, App no etc. Lets hope it works out well and i get my card soon.

Thank you. Also, the email I got after calling CIC about my PR card doesnt contain any details. There is no place in the form where I can put my UCI number and the email I have does not have my name or UCI number. Do I have to send a copy of COPR or a letter of explanation stating my name/UCI...

Is there anyone who resubmitted photos and sent them through Express Post? The email I got mentions "Regular Mail" but I wish to send them through express post so that I can track it. Thanks.

Received Wife's PR Card yesterday. We landed on 5th Feb. Waiting for my PR card now.

Mine was signed by Mr BORGEAT too. Your return tracker may get activated by evening today around 6:30 PM mountain time.

You should call CIC and ask for status. They may request you to resubmit Photos as per new specifications.

I dont have a US visa and I am going for landing this Friday.

You do not need a US visa to do landing. You just need to tell the officer at US entry gate that you are here for landing/flagpole for Canadian PR. You will be given an informal refusal of entry to US and then sent to Canadian Entry gate. This is only true if you are doing flagpoling via Land.

I am planning to go to coutts on 5th feb. what documents are you taking? I will be taking almost everything I have and the latest proof of funds. Are you taking any pre-filled forms?

I have not gone there myself yet. Might go by this weekend. But recently I have seen better reviews for COUTTS on this forum than Carway.

It is better to go to COUTTS thats why. They have an immigration service there. Carway doesnt have one thats why they get angry and rude.

I am in Calgary. You can try asking local CIC office in Edmonton when can you get an appointment for landing.
