@Marvinon : ~5 months. Online. My case might have been delayed due to the strike. I guess yours should be much quicker given that the strike is now over.

@ Frank232 , Restoration is when you mess up or the system messes up by not submitting your extension application on time. application. If you are able to put in the extension application in time, no need for restoration. Definitely a disadvantage over the regular application. Long wait periods.

Jezz_18 , You bring luck man ... Mine approved today. The long wait ends.. and the job search starts :) For people still waiting, Good luck guys and be patient. Your approvals are just around the corner.

@ Jezz_18 : ~4.5 months. of which 3 months have been on restoration. CIC says wait for 1 more month. Man, This wait kills. One cant work and have to keep waiting..

I think restorations are completely down.

@Marvinon You can call the cic and they will tell you when it was sent to the restoration dept. (if they have done so yet) I guess currently study permits and visitor visas are taking priority over the Status restorations. Seems like we will have to wait for 4 months for status restoration +...
