NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

Does this apply for visa exempt countries too? I thought that I had seen some people "landing" within 10 days of receiving PPR.. I was thinking it was going to be more like 3-4 days for visa exempt. Or at least I was hoping I guess!

Not sure about outland applicants. At the moment its running 12-13 months after AOR date for Inland applicants. Outland is specific to your visa office. I am pretty sure there is a section on the CIC website that shows the estimate wait times in your specific visa office..

There are quite a few of us in the same boat. For most of us it changed this Saturday just gone (March 11th). I think it will probably change in MyCIC at the same time we get PPR. Either way, I think PPR is only a few days away for all of us who had DM on Saturday..

It depends really, I waited about a month after it changed to "in progress". But some people have had their DM and BG change to "in progress" at the same time..

NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

I wouldn't worry. My application was received on December 18th, 2015 and my ECAS only changed to DM on Saturday. It hasn't even updated in MyCIC yet. I know there are still early December and November applicants who haven't heard anything yet, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I would imagine even...

I think the applications for BC get processed faster for some reason. Although, I thought it was the same for SK, so you might well get yours before mine. 2 years today since I submitted my AINP application for the nomination!

NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

I think it really does depend on which case officer you've got. I would guess the kind of system they are using is that they just check a box to say its complete. So it seems that some case officers will just check off BG check and DM at the same time, or pretty close together. But then some...

NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

Rockandroll, I don't know of any applicants after December 16th who have got DM or PPR yet. Just a guess based on the current timelines, but would say you will get yours next week or the week after. Some early December applicants just got there's today and then there is still some November...

NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2015 CIC APPLICANTS

Don't be alarmed. It seems to depend who your case officer is. As some people don't seem to get BG in progress until right before or at the same time as DM.. I think for applicants up to December 20th, we will probably get our DM next week. Fingers crossed!
