I’m in the same situation!! Talk to your employer about it. They told me that they cannot process my paychecks without an active SIN, so I hope I get my permit soon!

That’s true, many June and July applicants are getting SA and AIP. I’ve seen August applicants (even August 31st) getting ghost updates that usually happen before SA too!

Thanks for sharing! I imagine now they will mail the permit to the address you provided? I’m not completely sure. Please let us know whatever happens next.

No, the last person that posted an update here was a November applicant, and they got their permit this week. I applied on December 19, but no news yet.

Any updates from November/December applicants?

I travelled back home for Christmas for 5 weeks and came back without any issues (I had a study permit valid until the end of March 2019, and I’m from a visa exempt country). The officer didn’t ask me anything, I just told him I was applying for PGWP because I finished my masters in December...

Maybe that’s for the TRV (temporary resident visa)?

No, the permit is a piece of paper, you don’t get it in your passport. They send it to the address you provided in your application. When did you apply?
