@divyasajjan I'm in the same boat as you and got an email asking to send my passport to issue a COPR. I'm not very comfortable sending my passport over the border to Canada(I'm in the US) and not being in possession of my passport for 4+ months. What did you end up doing?

@ssp2020 You got the same above mail too right? Did it say you are required to send over your passport to Canada within 30 days to get your COPR and PR stamp as well(Annex A form)?

Hey @annguyen that doesn't look right. My biometrics section in the IRCC account updated to "August 17, 2020 Completed" a few hours after I gave my biometrics. I think the Biometrics center where you gave your fingerprints screwed up, check with them if you still have the receipt.

Hey, I'm an Outland candidate, and completed my biometrics on Aug 17th, 2020. There were no updates, my online profile still says 'Submitted' but I saw a couple of ghost updates over the last few days. Hope this helps!

Thanks and I think you are very close as well as our profiles are very similar. I got a GU yesterday and one on Monday, so if you see that then you are very close. Good luck!

Hello. Got an email as well, requesting to submit my Passport in order to issue a COPR. PNP Outland, June 16 AOR. IRCC Online portal still shows as 'Submitted' so I think it'll be updated soon as well? Got a GU yesterday and got the email today. Good luck everyone, your COPR is very close as well!

Now, even I can proudly claim to have seen a GU in real life. Even though it doesn't amount to anything and is a glitch, it still brought tiny tears of happiness to my eyes as it's the first time in months I've had "any" updates to my PNP Outland application

Congrats! I'm wondering if already being in Canada works out to an advantage as they might be reluctant to issue more COPRs to outland candidates - irrespective of their streams - owing to COVID19

I'd probably call them as that seems to be the quickest way to get the status. BTW hotline number is 1-888-242-2100
