My suggestion: 1. Move to BC. 2. Apply for jobs in AB and BC 3. Then if you get a job in AB, move there I heard there are more scopes in BC than AB.

Once you apply online. you will get an email within a few days. Then read the email content from CIC website by logging in to your account. You will download the attachment and go to your local visa office and have the biometric done.
